History of Diwali

There is history behind Diwali festival which can be traced back to ancient India. It gives us the knowledge about Importance of Diwali. In Bengal people celebrate Diwali by worshiping Maa Kali, The goddess of strength. Jains worship Lord Mahavir while Hindus doing pooja of Lord Ganesha and Maa Lakshmi.
